My Special “Man”
Let me tell you a little bit about the very special “man” in my life and why he is so important to me…..He taught me so much about myself!! He has never responded to me with anything but love and submission. When I’m sad he would always come up to me, flop right next to me and make me feel that everything will be fine. When I cry, he cuddle’s up next to me, giving me kisses in my ear and answer that with pure love. When I’m happy, he is happy. Never ever has he complained when I’m angry at him for walking on the tiles with dirty feet. When I feel ugly, he comes and give me little hugs and make me feel like I am the most beautiful creature on this planet. It seems that love is the only emotion he knows. His love, his companionship means more to me than a lot of things in my life. I love so many things about my “man”….how he nestles next to me early morning in bed, showing his love. There is nothing I would not do for my “man”……you have been in my life for almost 7 years now….and even though you can’t read this, I just wanted to let you know that you are amazing. This post is to you….for you….about you…and dedicated to you. I love you Coco.

I love him … and what a lovely homage, Amanda. He knows about it. And this is the great thing about our furry, feathered, and scaled friends (yes fish have personality and recognition – believe me!), their love is entirely and endlessly unconditional. Amanda, you nailed it when you said “love is the only emotion he knows.”
This is the most beautiful, most precious thing anyone has ever said about their pet, whether dog, cat, horse, or Coco. Animals have that quality – so rare in humans – and I believe they were put here to teach it to us. Gorgeous testament of a dog’s unspoilt and courageous heart.
