STARING INTO NOTHING

If I could share my heart with you right now

I would tell you that I want to go to the beach for a while

I want to sit on the sand, just staring into nothing

Play with my feet in the sand, let it run through my hands

Feel the wind playing through my hair

If I could share my heart with you right now

I would tell you that I want to go for a walk in the mountains

I’ll walk slowly, breathing the fresh air deep into my lungs

Feel the rays of the sun on my body

Shouting out loud to hear my own echo

If I could share my heart with you right now

I would tell you that I want to go for a walk in the rain

I want to feel every drop on my face and body

I want to look up to the clouds, close my eyes and just stand there

Let it rain and wash all over me

If I could share my heart with you right now

I would not know where to start

 I’m just sitting here

I’m just staring into nothing

Inspired by a dear friend

“If I could share my heart with you right now” — The “you” in this is always beside the “I”…

When I’m sitting staring into nothing, who knows where I am…kinda freaks out my family when I do it! This is beautiful, and I so relate.
