Hi Amanda,
WOW! I love it here, this is gorgeous. I’m so glad we met and I can’t wait to read more posts, lovely.
I love your Haiku. I can tell this space will be the place for me when I need inspiration. Great to meet you!

That is simply crazy beautiful. Your haiku. It’s great. And I love the picture You paired it with. Is that Your art? It’s so lovely. THank You and Cheers and Namaste. 🙂
I’m not sure why, but when I read this, a wonderful laugh wanted to rise up and escaped. Perhaps it was the delight of the warrioress who realizes what she conquered. This haiku reeks of accomplishment, in both theme and delivery.
Red, you’ve did it again…took it up another notch 🙂 Haiku is such a lovely form to write. In it’s simplicity it can be the most profound of poems when done well…yours is well done. I love the choice of song as well. Another fantastic post. I told ya….Poet 🙂
Remember how I did not get the Haiku at first?…Your inspiration helps me in ways that I can’t even begin to describe Cowboy. I thank you for that. Hugs x
Amanda, I have an award for you 🙂 Not my usual style, but one must deviate from the norm from time to time. You will find the award here http://wp.me/PsPty-nt
Silly me! I left award for you on a comment ON MY PAGE ! How stupid of me! 🙂
Here: Friendship awards for you, my lovely lovely Amanda 🙂 YOU ROCK!!
Now me off to snuggle in my bed 🙂
Whenever I’m alone- just by myself in silence, I feel like I’m made of ideas and fantasies more than flesh and bones.
This was amazing Amanda, thank you for sharing! 🙂
The haiku is such a delicate form, and you have done it well, from my perspective, as a non-haikuist– I’ve never dared. The illustration is phenomenal!
My favorite form of poetry is Haiku and this one is so powerful and emotions are so strong in this.. I could picturise this immediately… thanks for sharing…
I have not been doing Haiku that long but as with everything, the more you practice the better is is. Thanks so much for your kind comments. Have a great day my friend xx

The simplicity of the words play wonderfully against the complexity of the subject matter. Beautiful haiku, thanks for posting it on Poetry Potluck.
