That is simply crazy beautiful. Your haiku. It’s great. And I love the picture You paired it with. Is that Your art? It’s so lovely. THank You and Cheers and Namaste. 🙂

  9. I’m not sure why, but when I read this, a wonderful laugh wanted to rise up and escaped. Perhaps it was the delight of the warrioress who realizes what she conquered. This haiku reeks of accomplishment, in both theme and delivery.

    Nice one, Amanda!

  22. Excellent! You have such an ability to refine and choose the pefect words.

  23. This impresses me, Amanda. I find haiku very difficult to write effectively, which is exactly what you’ve done here. Very very nice! 😀

  24. Whenever I’m alone- just by myself in silence, I feel like I’m made of ideas and fantasies more than flesh and bones.

  29. awesome piece…

  30. The haiku is such a delicate form, and you have done it well, from my perspective, as a non-haikuist– I’ve never dared. The illustration is phenomenal!

  31. Dear Buttercup…

My favorite form of poetry is Haiku and this one is so powerful and emotions are so strong in this.. I could picturise this immediately… thanks for sharing…
