SPRING IS IN THE AIR

I woke up to a glorious morning, the sun shining brightly, there’s a light breeze in the air and hibernating flowers are just starting to poke their way up from a winter sleep.  I feel like cartwheeling on the grass, lying on the ground with my face turned toward the sun, and dancing to my own music. Yep, spring fever has hit me!  So I thought it a good idea to feed the soul at the same time …This is from Nancye Sims, enjoy, hope you have a WONDERFUL day and remember to keep smiling… ♥♥ Much love.♥♥

CREED TO LIVE BY

Don’t undermine your worth by comparing
yourself with others.
It is because we are different that each of us is special.
Don’t set your goals by what other people
deem important.

Only you know what is best for you.
Don’t take for granted the things closest to your heart.
Cling to them as you would your life, for without them
life is meaningless.

Don’t let your life slip through your fingers
by living in the past or for the future.
By living your life one day at a time,
you live all the days of your life.

Don’t give up when you still have something to give.
Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.
Don’t be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect.
It is this fragile thread that binds us to each other.
Don’t be afraid to encounter risks.

It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.
Don’t shut love out of your life by saying it’s impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive love is to give love.
The fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly;
and the best way to keep love is to give it wings.
Don’t dismiss your dreams.

To be without dreams is to be without hope;
to be without hope is to be without purpose.
Don’t run through life so fast that you forget
not only where you’ve been, but also where you’re going.
Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored
each step of the way.

  3. A good creed to live by, thank you. And I’m so happy for you that spring has arrived – here we are just going into autumn, which has its own glories. But there’s nothing quite like spring, I agree. Love to you!

  4. Spring is such a great season! Thank you for sharing this post with us. I’m watching a lightening storm through the window tonight. Whew! I imagined you cartwheeling on the grass and lying on the ground with your face toward the sun! Good day, Amanda! Much love…

    • It is a good day Carol….nothing more beautiful like a lightening storm…and when it rains after…the smell of the soil in all of it’s freshness, hmmm…I can actually smell that right now!! Good day (or sweet dreams) my friend xx

  5. “don’t dismiss your dreams”…it makes me think of the times throughout the day that I give up on the small things that could potentially get me to the larger goals. Gosh, this is very thought-provoking; I have some new things to consider. Thank you for sharing!

    Love, Kelley….I wish you enough!

  6. This is such a lovely message-packed song, Amanda… So important that we follow this, in order to live a life of contentment… Thank you for sharing its lyrics with us here.. you are awesome!!!
And I can imagine you cartwheeling in the greens 🙂 And while you are at it, sing out aloud too… it feels AWESOME!! I had done that in the snow that had accumulated in our lawn (in Texas) while it was STILL snowing, in the dead of the night, on Christmas eve.. rolling in the snow, and singing… it was amazing!! 😀
You should try it… in the green grass ofcourse, with flowers blooming around, butterflies kissing them… aahhh… dreamy! and yet real!
Sending you lots of Springy Effervescent Love, girl.. 🙂 mwah mwah mwah

    • Darling, I have not done the cartwheeling yet but I fully intend doing just that this coming weekend!!! When I went to Canada a couple of years ago, I did exactly the same…there is a true beauty in snow and I so want to experience that very same feeling again. I just so love nature and all of it’s beauty..but now is rightly the time for butterflies…and kisses…and everything beautiful!! What do you think? I love you gorgeous girl xxxx
