FRIENDS

Ever wonder where I get my inspiration and motivation from?  I’ll tell you my secret 🙂  On a daily basis I read lots of wonderful work written by special people who fill the blogosphere.  Each and every one of you fill my heart and soul in your own way, my life is so much richer in knowing you. One such person is Jamie Dedes,  who has stupendous writing skills and grace that begs me to go back for more on a daily basis.  Your role and place is pertinent in that you strive to influence and indulge us in tranquil moments as we read with both our eyes and hearts. I want to thank you for the award (musingbymoonlight ) and special mention, it means more than words can say.

There are some rules that go with this award:

  1. Thank and link back to the person that gave you the award.
  2. Share seven things about yourself.
  3. Pass the award to fifteen bloggers that you think deserve it.
  4. Lastly, contact all the bloggers that you’ve picked for the award.

7 Things About Myself

  1. I have a passionate love affair with food (both cooking and eating)
  2. I lived most of my life in South Africa.
  3. English is not my first language.
  4. I love coffee.
  5. I hardly EVER watch television.
  6. I recently started art classes and loving it.
  7. I never sleep more than 4-5 hours.

As we walk our path of life,
We meet people everyday.
Most are simply met by chance.
But, some are sent our way.

These become special friends
Whose bond we can’t explain;
The ones who understand us
And share our joy and pain.

Their love contains no boundaries.
So, even we are apart.
Their presence enhances us
With a warmth felt in the heart.

This love becomes a passageway,
When even the miles disappear.
And so, these friends, that’s send our way,
Remain forever near.

    There was a special angel playing with my keyboard the day I found you. I actually can’t conceive of a time when I didn’t have you in my life. And I can’t think of a day in my future when I can’t say hello to you.

    Friendship and mutual support is far more important than any award. Thank you so much, Amanda for appreciating and supporting my work the way you do, and for always being there for so many other writers with your warmth, enthusiasm and never-ending flow of open-hearted, non-judgmental friendship. I love the way you find the beauty in each person’s work and accept critique as well as compliments on your own with the same gratitude and desire to learn. You’re an amazing woman in so many ways.     Thank you for passing them to me… It really is my immense pleasure to know someone as precious and lovely as you! Sharing my ideas with you is so easy, cuz I feel you very easily understand it all… you are so amazing a person to know and share a bond with! Yaaaayyy.. you are right, distances just don’t matter if the hearts are bonded…
