I went down to our lake tonight
to sit and think of you and us
I put my bare feet in the cool water
and watched the sun sink
into the firey red horizon
beneath the deep azure sky
I thought, what a lucky woman I am
to have a man like you to love me
Your beauty strikes me
and fills me with desire to know you

The words created a kind of scene/picture in my mind . You have a very unconventional way to write which is great! Sometimes while watching and enjoying the setting sun I too get emotional like the lady you have described in your poem. 🙂
