the crescent moon
through murky skies
sparkle her light
on my salty face
as if
she could lift
me up
in embrace
and kiss me
*
ad interim
I sit here
in a poem
of reminisce
***
you touched me
with kindness
and mirth
ardor
just
yellow
– love –

Brought to mind a moonlit sky years ago out in Nebraska…sharing a special evening with a love lost…a bittersweet memory…really loved your poem.
