in a song lingers
teasing my senses
with ravenous allure

where I move you
to the hidden corners
of my thoughts
trying to hide you
between the pages
of my aching heart
in which I daily muse
my spirit
moving back and forth
to the tired body
of a crucified cosmos
the endless quest
trying to avoid
or is it an illusion
your picture not fading
in vain, I remain

this wheel of hope
keeps teasing
while
your silent song
still lingers
