your silence
in a song lingers
teasing my senses
with ravenous allure

where I move you
to the hidden corners
of my thoughts
trying to hide you
between the pages
of my aching heart
in which I daily muse
my spirit
moving back and forth
to the tired body
of a crucified cosmos
the endless quest
trying to avoid
or is it an illusion
your picture not fading
in vain, I remain

this wheel of hope
keeps teasing
while
your silent song
still lingers

find memories
left behind
as I walk
through the
maze in
reflection
of stolen time
where
melange
of illusion
scatters
the mind
in dreams
beguiling
the truth
like echoes
of answers
erased
take me
to that
secret place
through the
darkness
as I still
go on
beneath
silence
and the tears
I weep
