fervent longing
exudes my soul
like jaded birds
enervated
on wings of thought
my body devour
with riotous passion
reflected
in “blueprint”
inside
the tired rooms
of my heart
as I brush away
the musty haze
filling lacuna
and a new verse
take shape
in duet
with
my ode
